We are currently hiring Physician Assistants on a rolling basis, prioritizing candidates with licenses in Arkansas, Arizona, California, Indiana, Nevada, Virginia, Washington, and Wyoming.
About the Role
As an Independently Contracted Physician Assistant at Plume, you will join a diverse team of clinicians providing gender-affirming hormone therapy (GAHT) and expanded clinical services to adult patients nationwide.
We are seeking providers with broad primary care experience who are passionate about making a difference in the transgender and gender non-conforming (TGNC) community.
Responsibilities:
- Provide longitudinal care for a dedicated panel of patients, including onboarding, follow-ups, lab management, prescription oversight, and clinical inquiries.
- Conduct virtual patient care with flexible scheduling from your home.
- Dedicate a minimum of 10 hours per week to synchronous visits.
- Work collaboratively with a large support team that manages patient logistics, allowing you to focus solely on clinical care.
- Adapt to the dynamic healthcare startup environment, leveraging technology to improve care delivery.
What We’re Looking For
Must-Haves:
- Active licenses in at least two states, with good standing from your professional board.
- At least one DEA license.
- A minimum of 10 hours per week available for synchronous visits.
- Experience providing primary care services to adult patients.
- Comfort working on diverse teams and delivering 100% remote care.
- Proficiency with technology, including EMRs, app-based platforms, and digital communication.
- Strong organization and communication skills.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Active licenses in five or more states.
- Availability for 20+ hours per week of synchronous time.
- Experience with telehealth, startups, or prescribing GAHT.
- Familiarity with GAHT guidelines and the informed consent model of care.
- Experience prescribing behavioral health medications (e.g., for depression or anxiety).
- A CAQH profile.
Compensation & Benefits
- Payment Rates:
- $25 for 15-minute visits.
- $45 for 30-minute visits.
- 50% of the rate for no-shows or cancellations within 24 hours.
