Job Overview

Alamoja Yoruba Online School seeks a dedicated HR Assistant to support key human resource operations, including contract management, staff performance tracking, and benefits administration. In this remote role, you’ll work closely with the CEO and COO to ensure HR processes run smoothly and align with organizational policies and employment regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Contract Management

  • Draft, update, and maintain employee contracts for all staff.
  • Organize and manage digital personnel files and documentation.
  • Monitor contract renewal schedules and initiate timely renewals.
  • Update and improve contract templates to meet current standards.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.

Staff Loan Administration

  • Process staff loan applications and draft agreements.
  • Develop and track loan repayment schedules.
  • Coordinate deductions with the finance department and generate monthly loan status reports.

Performance Management Support

  • Assist the COO in documenting employee performance reviews and feedback.
  • Track probation periods and evaluation timelines.
  • Support implementation of performance improvement plans.

HR Administration & Benefits

  • Process and organize HR-related documentation, including onboarding files.
  • Maintain an up-to-date employee information database.
  • Administer staff benefits and process leave applications.
  • Issue staff ID cards and manage access credentials.
  • Coordinate training sessions and maintain related documentation.
