Job Summary: Change Management Coordinator

As a Change Management Coordinator, you will provide essential support to the change management lead, contributing to the development, analysis, and execution of effective change management strategies. This role emphasizes research, planning, documentation, and material preparation to ensure the smooth implementation of new processes, tools, or organizational structures. While your work will focus on behind-the-scenes activities rather than direct stakeholder interaction, your contributions will be critical in maximizing employee adoption and minimizing resistance to change.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Planning and Strategy Development
    • Assist in crafting and refining change management plans that align with organizational objectives.
    • Conduct research and readiness assessments to shape impactful change strategies.
  2. Coordination and Integration
    • Collaborate with the change management lead to embed change activities into project schedules.
    • Monitor project milestones, identify potential adjustments, and ensure alignment with timelines.
  3. Documentation and Reporting
    • Prepare and maintain comprehensive records of change activities, plans, and assessments.
    • Track progress metrics and compile reports to provide actionable insights.
  4. Communication and Training Support
    • Draft communication materials, training resources, and presentation templates.
    • Design materials for workshops and feedback sessions to enhance employee engagement.
  5. Impact Analysis and Feedback Monitoring
    • Gather and analyze data on change impacts, readiness, and adoption metrics.
    • Monitor employee feedback to identify improvement opportunities and adjust strategies.
  6. Sustainment and Continuous Improvement
    • Develop templates, checklists, and tools to support the long-term success of change initiatives.
    • Document lessons learned and apply them to future projects.
    • Support continuous improvement efforts based on performance metrics and employee input.

Requirements:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, psychology, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • At least 3 years of experience in change management, organizational development, or similar roles, preferably in a large or complex organization.
  • Certifications:
    • Certification in change management (e.g., Prosci, ACMP, or Change Management Institute) is highly desirable.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
    • Proficiency in data analysis to evaluate readiness and measure sustainment success.
    • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and material preparation.
    • Strong written communication skills to create clear and effective resources.
    • Ability to work autonomously while supporting the change management lead effectively.
