About the Role: Sales & Operations Manager

Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary Range: ₦100,000 – ₦300,000 per month

As a Sales & Operations Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by managing B2B accounts and supporting strategic business development initiatives. Collaborating closely with the Marketing and Customer Success Teams, you’ll ensure smooth operations, effective client onboarding, and the high performance of onboarded accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and optimize the B2B sales funnel.
  • Develop strategies to onboard and support transportation and logistics businesses.
  • Establish and grow intercity service centers.
  • Lead internal operations projects to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Create and maintain handbooks for both operators and customers.
  • Identify new channels for client acquisition and sourcing.
  • Design and implement client acquisition and verification processes.
  • Ensure outstanding performance for all onboarded accounts.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in any field.
  • Proven experience as a Sales or Operations Manager, preferably in a tech company.
  • Proficiency with technology and tools to support business tasks.
  • Experience in a startup or small business environment, with a willingness to handle diverse responsibilities.
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities with a knack for strategic thinking.
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to delegate effectively when needed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, and fluency in at least one major Nigerian dialect (Igbo, Yoruba, or Hausa).
  • Exceptional negotiation, active listening, and presentation skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
