Job Description
As an Officer – Customer Operations Walk In, you will play a key role in maintaining the MTN brand by delivering exceptional customer service to MTN customers through designated channels or locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Escalate and route customer issues to the appropriate teams for resolution.
  • Perform system transactions related to customer requests efficiently.
  • Utilize organizational and time management tools to meet turnaround times and performance metrics.
  • Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of subscriber data.
  • Identify and report trends that impact customer experience.
  • Educate customers on new products, services, and initiatives.
  • Document actions taken to resolve customer issues.
  • Verify and process cash transactions accurately.
  • Perform software installation and configuration as requested.
  • Escalate incidents in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collect and book customer phones for warranty repairs.
  • Communicate credit status and resolve billing issues proactively.
  • Assist in printing post-paid client bills and provide after-sales support.
  • Handle cash transactions and ensure accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Education: A First Degree in any related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Experience:
  • 3–7 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience working collaboratively in a team.
  • Experience in a medium-sized organization.
  • Prior experience in a call center (Prepaid/Postpaid) environment, particularly in customer care roles (Retention & Churn).
