We are currently seeking Contingent Hurricane Relief Agents to provide temporary, remote support during disaster relief efforts. This role will require on-call availability in response to hurricane disaster needs. Selected candidates will receive email and text notifications when shifts become available.

Hours of Operation:

  • 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM ET
  • Shift Options: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM | 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Position Overview

Role Responsibilities

As a Contingent Hurricane Relief Agent, you will:

  • Assist customers with service inquiries related to disaster relief.
  • Provide compassionate and efficient support to those affected by hurricanes.
  • Utilize customer service techniques and our account management systems.
  • Handle common service requests, escalating complex issues when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and resolutions.

Basic Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to type at least 20 words per minute.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage a high call volume.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Customer-oriented mindset: empathetic, patient, and responsive.
  • Ability to work independently and stay focused.

Employment Conditions

  • Must be authorized to work in the country where the job is based.
  • Subject to a Level II background check and/or security investigation, including fingerprinting.
  • Job offers are contingent on background and security clearance results.
  • Must be willing to undergo drug screening (where applicable).

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This is a remote position requiring a professional home office setup. Employees will:

  • Sit or stand for extended periods while using a computer and headset.
  • Operate standard office equipment, including computers, phones, printers, and copiers.
