Role Overview:
As a Data Partnerships Associate, you will play a key role in driving our mission by building and nurturing relationships with data partners. This position involves identifying business opportunities, collaborating with technology teams to support integrations, and facilitating communication with internal and external stakeholders to maximize revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily research on secondary data sources, including Security and Government Agency Wanted Lists, Ban Lists, Missing Persons Lists, Tax Offenders Lists, Tax Crimes, and other datasets requested by the business, product, or engineering teams.
- Perform daily research on required government datasets for specific Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) across Africa and globally.
- Expand partnerships by educating internal teams on key offerings from data partners and creating supporting materials.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
- Perform additional duties as assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a first degree in any discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Data Partnerships Associate or in a related role.
- Must be a self-starter with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships that drive revenue.
- Understanding of the marketplace and the ability to identify strengths and gaps in data sources.
