Job Description:
The Compliance Officer will perform and deliver various Compliance Risk Management processes and activities within a specific Client Segment or Functional area. Under the guidance and supervision of the appropriate management structure, the officer will ensure that all operations are conducted in a compliant manner to avoid operational losses, fines, penalties, or reputational damage. The role also involves implementing action plans to prevent, detect, and mitigate Compliance Risk Management issues, thereby enabling the organization’s competitive advantage.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Type of Qualification: First Degree
- Field of Study: Audit, Business Commerce, or Legal
Experience Required:
- Business Enablement: 3-6 years
- Proven experience in a Compliance Officer role.
- Sound knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and upcoming developments applicable to a specific Client Segment, business area, or Functional area.
- Solid understanding of banking products and activities.
