Role Description:
The Assets and Inventory Sales Officer is responsible for managing the sale and lease of aircraft parts, tools, and Ground Support Equipment (GSE) used in civil aviation. This role ensures compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and environmental standards while maximizing revenue and minimizing waste. The officer will also build and maintain relationships with buyers and leasing agents to achieve optimal financial returns.

The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background and in-depth knowledge of aircraft technical parts and equipment. Collaboration with the Engineering Supply Chain and CAMO departments is essential to drive revenue growth.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  1. Market Research and Analysis:
  • Conduct market research to identify potential buyers and leasing opportunities.
  • Analyze demand and pricing trends for aircraft parts and equipment.
  • Monitor competitors’ products and services to identify sales opportunities.
  1. Sales Strategy Development:
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue.
  • Identify and pursue new markets, growth areas, and customer segments.
  • Ensure prompt response to internal and external customer needs.
  • Be willing to travel to other locations or stations as required.
  1. Sales Revenue Generation & Profit Margins:
  • Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales and leasing revenue targets.
  • Increase revenue year-over-year while maintaining or improving profit margins.
  1. Compliance & Documentation Accuracy:
  • Ensure 100% compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation for all sales transactions, including contracts and invoices, with zero compliance breaches.
  1. Customer Satisfaction:
  • Deliver timely and efficient services to achieve high customer satisfaction scores.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc/HND) in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the aviation or technical equipment industry.
  • Strong understanding of aircraft parts and equipment.

  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
