Shell Nigeria Student Industrial Training and Internship Programme (SIWES)
The Shell Companies in Nigeria Student Industrial Training Programme provides Nigerian university and polytechnic students with the opportunity to gain hands-on work experience in various office locations. Below is a list of eligible fields of study:
- Engineering
- Geosciences
- Information Technology
- Sciences (Pure Science and Environmental)
- Social Sciences/Arts
- Commercial
This programme is designed to help students:
- Apply theoretical knowledge in real-world settings.
- Develop essential workplace skills through constructive feedback and professional supervision.
- Acquire additional competencies such as communication, ethics, HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment), teamwork, and leadership.

Eligibility Criteria
To apply, candidates must:
- Be a Nigerian citizen.
- Be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate programme at a Nigerian university or polytechnic.
- Have official authorization and approval from their institution for Industrial Training.
- Maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.5 or above.
