Job Purpose:
To lead the strategic execution of embedded business compliance risk management functions. This role involves implementing compliance risk management processes in line with regulatory requirements, applicable codes of conduct, and minimum standards, while supporting business partnering initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain an efficient platform for business partner, global stakeholder, and team feedback.
  • Advise Business Units (BUs) on compliance-related legislation impacting their operations.
  • Develop and deliver strategic training initiatives with global relevance to ensure consistent compliance messaging across jurisdictions.
  • Monitor compliance in complex environments, focusing on conflict management and leveraging assurance providers’ capabilities.
  • Provide accurate feedback, reporting, and escalation of compliance issues.
  • Ensure a robust regulatory framework is in place for Technology and Corporate Functions (CF) to manage compliance risks effectively.

Qualifications:

  • First Degree in a relevant field.
  • A Master’s Degree will be an added advantage.
  • Professional qualifications such as CISA, ACAMS, CFE, ICA, or CIN are advantageous.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years in Compliance or related assurance functions.
  • Strong understanding of Corporate Functions, including Credit, Finance, P&C, Operations, Customer Experience, Administration, Governance, Risk, IT, and IT Security.
  • IT GRC experience is a plus.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance best practices.
