Job Description

As an Officer in Customer Operations Walk-In, you will play a key role in maintaining MTN’s reputation by delivering high-quality customer service through assigned channels or at designated locations.

Responsibilities

  • Address and escalate customer issues to the appropriate departments.
  • Perform system transactions related to customer requests.
  • Manage time efficiently to meet turnaround times and key performance metrics.
  • Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of customer data.
  • Identify and report customer-impacting trends.
  • Educate customers on MTN’s products, services, and new initiatives.
  • Document resolutions for customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Process cash payments accurately and communicate credit status.
  • Assist customers with software installation and configuration.
  • Follow proper escalation procedures for technical issues.
  • Collect and book-in customer phones for warranty repairs.
  • Support billing inquiries and assist in printing postpaid client bills.
  • Generate revenue through sales and after-sales services.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

  • First Degree in a related field
  • Fluent in English

Experience:

  • 3 – 7 years of experience, including:
    • Working in a team-oriented environment
    • Experience in a mid-sized organization
    • Previous experience in a call center (Prepaid/Postpaid), particularly in customer retention and churn management
