- Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor supplier performance for quality and timeliness.
Budgeting & Cost Control
- Develop and monitor logistics budgets to control expenses.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while improving operational efficiency.
- Analyze logistics costs to pinpoint areas for improvement.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate documentation for compliance purposes.
- Generate performance reports detailing delivery timelines, costs, and issues.
- Present key logistics metrics to management.
Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting
- Address logistical issues such as delays or supply chain disruptions.
- Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks and maintain smooth operations.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations.
- Monitor safety practices in material handling and transportation.
- Conduct regular safety audits to uphold operational standards.
Collaboration with Internal Teams
- Partner with procurement, sales, warehouse, and production departments.
- Provide logistical support to ensure timely customer deliveries.
Continuous Improvement
