Key Responsibilities
As a Human Resource Officer at Venmac Resources Limited, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing HR functions across multiple hotel locations. Your responsibilities include:
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, including posting job advertisements, shortlisting candidates, conducting interviews, and onboarding new hires.
- Create compelling job descriptions tailored to specific roles.
- Design and execute effective onboarding and training programs.
Staff Development & Training
- Conduct training sessions for internal and external staff to improve skills and efficiency.
- Identify training needs and create development opportunities across various outlets.
- Organize exit interviews and evaluate feedback to enhance employee retention.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and documents.
- Develop and ensure adherence to job descriptions for all staff.
- Perform background checks and arrange medical screenings for new employees.
- Visit managed hotels weekly to oversee HR operations.
Performance Management
- Monitor and appraise external employees’ performance across hotel locations and report directly to the CEO.
- Align HR strategies with the company’s mission and vision to drive organizational success.
- Address employee grievances and foster positive management-employee relations.
Strategic HR Planning
- Develop and implement HR policies and strategies that support the company’s overall goals.
- Bridge gaps between management and staff to ensure a cohesive work environment.
- Track key project milestones and contribute to achieving company objectives.
What We’re Looking For
- A motivated individual with 4-10 years of proven experience in human resource management.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, manage remote teams, and maintain high performance across multiple locations.
- A proactive mindset to address challenges and propose innovative solutions.
