Key Responsibilities
As an Accountant at Sirog Energy Limited, your responsibilities will include:
- Financial Record Management:
- Maintain accurate financial records.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Reporting:
- Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Tax Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all tax regulations.
- Prepare and submit tax filings accurately and on time.
- Financial Controls:
- Monitor internal financial controls to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Data Analysis:
- Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making.
- Auditing Support:
- Assist with both internal and external audits.
- Payroll Management:
- Compile and process monthly payroll details.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Handle collation and documentation of immigration and health insurance enrollments for team members.
Skills and Competencies
To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
- 4-5 years of proven work experience in accounting.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Knowledge of accounting software such as Peachtree or QuickBooks is a significant advantage.
- Familiarity with team collaboration tools like Trello, ClickUp, Asana, or Zoom is essential.
