About the Role: Senior Systems Administrator
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Systems Administrator to manage and optimize critical infrastructure for Tether’s Data Division. You’ll be working on state-of-the-art systems, ensuring 99.99% uptime while maintaining robust security standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Design: Architect and maintain high-availability solutions at scale, managing hundreds of servers.
- System Deployment: Orchestrate deployments and updates efficiently across our infrastructure.
- Monitoring & Alerts: Implement and oversee advanced monitoring and incident response systems.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to enhance application performance.
- Security: Conduct internal audits, identify vulnerabilities, and apply hardening measures.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and technical leadership to junior team members.
Required Skills and Expertise
- Experience: At least 5+ years in Linux systems administration.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
- Container orchestration (Docker/Podman)
- GPU container management and optimization
- Virtualization platforms (QEMU/KVM)
- Network architecture (VPNs, SDNs, Load Balancing)
- Security practices, including threat detection and mitigation
- Node.js application deployment and scaling
- Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
- CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub CI)
- Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
- Version control systems (Git)
- FIDO2 and YubiKeys for secure server management
