About the Role
North Star Network is seeking a talented Sports Betting Content Writer to join our diverse international team. This role focuses on creating and updating high-quality content for the Nigerian sports betting market. Responsibilities
As a Sports Betting Content Writer, you will:
- Produce Engaging Content: Create affiliate betting articles, including promo code guides, app reviews, bookmaker reviews, and betting guides tailored to the Nigerian market.
- Ensure Quality and SEO Standards: Write content that meets the highest quality and search engine optimization (SEO) standards.
- Optimize and Revise: Review, improve, and refine existing content based on feedback.
- Follow EEAT Guidelines: Ensure all written content adheres to Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness (EEAT) standards.
- Enhance Visual Appeal: Use tools like Canva to create or improve images and take relevant screenshots to complement written articles.
- Collaborate Effectively: Communicate with the broader NSN team via Skype, Slack, and Asana to deliver projects on time.
- Integrate Content: Upload and format approved articles on WordPress, adhering to strict content guidelines.
Your Profile
To succeed in this role, your background should include:
- Strong Writing Skills: Impeccable written English with exceptional attention to detail.
- Relevant Experience: At least 2 years of experience writing sports betting content, such as promo code articles, app reviews, and bookmaker insights.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the Nigerian betting market.
- WordPress Proficiency: Experience integrating content on WordPress is a plus.
