Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership
- Shape and drive the company’s strategic vision, aligning operations with long-term goals.
- Collaborate with the CEO to ensure alignment with U.S. market priorities and investor objectives.
- Operational Oversight
- Oversee daily operations across all departments, ensuring seamless and efficient workflows.
- Design and implement scalable processes to support rapid growth from 15 to 100+ employees within a year.
- Talent Development
- Recruit, retain, and nurture top-tier talent across marketing, design, engineering, and business teams.
- Cultivate a high-performance culture emphasizing collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
- Market Focus
- Maintain a strong focus on delivering high-impact products for the U.S. market while advancing opportunities in African markets.
- Analyze market trends to inform strategic business and product decisions.
- Investor Relations and Compliance
- Partner with the CEO to manage investor relations, including preparing pitch materials and representing the company in discussions.
- Ensure operational compliance with U.S. standards to build credibility with venture capitalists and strategic partners.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a General Manager or equivalent leadership role, preferably in a fast-growing tech or startup setting.
- Strong expertise in managing cross-functional teams across diverse geographies.
- Deep understanding of U.S. business practices and venture capital expectations.
- Exceptional communication, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
