Our client, a global leader in inspection and certification, is seeking an experienced and skilled Area Sales Manager to oversee sales operations in Nigeria, Republic of Congo, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, Cameroon, and Angola.
Job Responsibilities
- Sales Leadership: Oversee all aspects of the sales department, including management, account oversight, business analytics, and channel development.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with Sales Operations, Finance, Marketing, and other sales teams to ensure seamless delivery of a first-class customer experience.
- Strategic Sales Planning: Develop innovative sales strategies that align with operating group priorities and local market opportunities, focusing on consumer satisfaction and revenue growth.
- Brand Advocacy: Serve as a brand ambassador, leveraging professional relationships and networks to promote the company’s vision, increase brand awareness, and establish new partnerships.
Candidate Requirements
- Educational Background:
- A bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business Administration, Business Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- A master’s degree is preferred.
- An engineering background is a plus.
- Equivalent professional experience may also be considered.
- Professional Experience:
- At least 10 years of experience in sales within a complex, fast-paced business environment.
- A minimum of 5 years as a Sales Manager, with experience across at least 2-3 countries within the designated region.
- Skills and Expertise:
- Proficiency in sales research and analytics, with the ability to transform raw data into actionable insights.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing strategies to meet sales goals and targets.
- Established contacts and relationships within the industry.
- Experience with CRM platforms and sales account databases.
