Job Summary
We are looking to hire a skilled Protocol Officer to deliver seamless and efficient protocol coordination services for the organization. The ideal candidate will oversee travel arrangements, event logistics, and provide critical support to executives, management, and board members.

Job Description/Responsibilities

  • Travel Coordination:
    • Oversee visa processing, flight bookings, airport logistics, accommodations, and comprehensive travel plans for local and international trips.
    • Manage travel arrangements for executives, staff, board members, and their families.
  • System Management:
    • Ensure systems and processes are in place for smooth and efficient travel management.
  • Liaison Services:
    • Serve as the liaison for visa and travel document processing.
  • Event Logistics:
    • Handle hotel reservations and organize meetings for executives and management during official events.
    • Coordinate event logistics and support event planning activities.
  • Security & Safety:
    • Identify potential travel-related security risks and develop safety plans as needed.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Manage specific travel-related projects and other assigned tasks.

Requirements

  • Educational Background:
    • A First Degree in a relevant field such as Public Relations, Business Administration, Economics, or similar disciplines.
  • Professional Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years of work experience, with at least 2-3 years in protocol management and administration.
  • Key Skills:
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Strong planning, organizing, and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
    • Networking, negotiation, and persuasive skills.
    • High level of credibility, confidentiality, and integrity.
    • Ability to handle pressure and prioritize effectively.
  • Work Environment:
    • Self-motivated and solution-driven.
    • Strong work ethic with the ability to work remotely when required.
