Job Overview
Harvesters International Christian Centre seeks a passionate and experienced Social Media Team Lead to spearhead its digital outreach initiatives. This pivotal role involves designing and executing impactful social media strategies that reflect the church’s mission, while managing a dynamic team to amplify the organization’s online presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the church’s objectives and values. - Performance Management:
Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of campaigns and ensure continuous improvement. - Content Creation & Management:
- Oversee the creation of faith-based, engaging, and platform-optimized content for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and other emerging platforms.
- Maintain consistency in messaging that reflects the church’s voice and values.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of social media specialists and volunteers.
- Delegate tasks, provide constructive feedback, and facilitate skill development to ensure high performance.
- Community Engagement:
- Monitor social media channels to foster meaningful interactions.
- Respond to messages and comments promptly while cultivating strong relationships within the online community.
- Data Analysis & Optimization:
- Track and analyze social media metrics to gain insights into campaign performance.
- Use data to refine strategies and improve engagement and reach.
Requirements
- Educational Background:
A Bachelor’s degree in Social Media Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. - Professional Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in social media management, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
- Previous work in faith-based or non-profit organizations is highly preferred.
- Core Skills:
- Expertise in developing and executing social media strategies tailored to organizational goals.
- Proven ability to manage, inspire, and oversee team performance.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, analytics tools, and content creation best practices.
- Ability to handle feedback professionally and maintain the church’s online reputation.
- Personal Attributes:
- Familiarity with Christian principles and the ability to create content that aligns with these values.
