Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our dynamic team and delight our customers with exceptional cuisine. As a Chef, your role will encompass crafting high-quality dishes, designing menus, and ensuring an outstanding dining experience. You will lead kitchen operations, delegate tasks effectively, and maintain strict compliance with food safety regulations.

- High School Certificate (S.S.C.E)

- Mid-level
Experience Required:
- Minimum of 3 years
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and set up the kitchen with essential tools and equipment, including knives, pans, and scales.
- Review and follow recipes while preparing all necessary ingredients.
- Cook meals efficiently to ensure timely service.
- Delegate tasks to kitchen staff to maintain a smooth workflow.
- Communicate daily specials to wait staff.
- Present dishes attractively and professionally.
- Supervise and assist cooks as needed.
- Adjust recipes to accommodate customer preferences (e.g., reducing salt or removing dairy).
- Monitor food inventory and place orders as required.
- Experiment with new recipes and suggest innovative ingredients.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a hygienic kitchen environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Chef or Cook.
- Hands-on familiarity with various kitchen equipment (e.g., grillers, pasta makers).
- Expertise in advanced culinary, baking, and pastry techniques.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Calm demeanor and ability to multitask under pressure.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of cooking techniques and modern recipes.
- Awareness of sanitation and food safety standards.
- Culinary school diploma is an added advantage but not mandatory.
