Job Summary
Kenkeputa, an innovative tech startup in Nigeria, is on the lookout for a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic team. - At least 5 years of experience in full-stack development
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Founding Team: Work closely with leadership to define technical requirements and product architecture, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Front-End Development: Design, develop, and maintain user-friendly web interfaces using modern front-end technologies.
- Back-End Development: Build robust server-side applications and APIs utilizing industry-standard frameworks.
- Data Security & Protection: Implement robust security protocols to safeguard user data.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver scalable and high-quality software solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Optimize the performance and scalability of applications to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Stay Current: Keep up with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in full-stack web development.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) as a Full Stack Developer, preferably in a startup environment.
- Strong expertise in front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Proficiency in back-end technologies such as Python (preferred), Node.js, React, or Ruby on Rails.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
- Hands-on experience with databases, particularly SQL.
- Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) and test-driven development (TDD) methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to thrive both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with mobile development.
- Must be at least 26 years old.
- Completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.
