Required Qualifications
Education
- College or CEGEP diploma or an equivalent experience in fields like:
- Land Use Planning and Management/Development
- General Legal Studies
- Legal Administrative Assistance/Secretary
Experience
- 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience in property administration, preferably in real estate or related fields.
Job Responsibilities
- Property Management and Appraisals: Conduct property appraisals and assessments, manage and document property assets, and ensure alignment with company and regulatory standards.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain property records, coordinate documentation, and handle legal paperwork as required.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal departments, external stakeholders, and contractors to streamline property-related projects and maintain effective communication channels.
- Data Analysis and Decision-Making: Analyze data related to property assets, provide insights for decision-making, and report findings to support property management strategies.
- Risk Assessment and Compliance: Ensure all property-related operations comply with regulatory standards and risk management policies to uphold property safety and security.
Work Environment and Credentials
This position requires working in a real estate environment and necessitates both in-person and remote work.
Preferred Credentials
- Certification with the Canadian National Association of Real Estate Appraisers (CNAREA) is advantageous.
- Familiarity with industry standards and local regulatory requirements for property and real estate management.
