This is a fully remote position; candidates will be expected to work from their own location as Northlake Financial does not provide office space.
Role Overview
The Graphic Designer will play a key role in creating visual concepts to meet clients’ communication needs. This includes consulting with clients, developing visual elements, and producing sketches and final illustrations. The successful candidate will bring creativity, precision, and a client-focused approach to each project, ensuring all design outputs align with client objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Languages: English (proficiency required)
- Education: College diploma or CEGEP
- Experience: Some experience is preferred, though not mandatory
Responsibilities
As a Graphic Designer at Northlake Financial, your main tasks will include:
- Project Planning: Estimate time and resources required to complete design projects
- Client Consultations: Work closely with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, and objectives
- Design Creation: Develop realistic or representational sketches and produce final illustrations based on client needs
- Content Development: Establish the overall aesthetic, graphic elements, and layout for various communications materials
- Usability Testing: Test design elements for effectiveness and usability
- Template Creation: Develop templates for repeatable and consistent use across projects
- Prototyping: Prepare manufacturing drawings, specifications, and design prototypes to guide production
